There were at least two pair of them, ospreys swooping down to the marsh to grab nesting materials in their beaks before soaring off to their lofty nest platforms. In the water below, waterbirds went about their own spring nesting rituals. After a long winter, warmer weather is here, and summer is coming. Now I can stand out on the marsh and breathe in the tangy sea as I sketch in oils. It was a good day.
