For a second year our plein air group was allowed to visit this amazing private estate. There are five koi ponds of different sizes spread out across the garden. This is one of the two large ones, nestled into a low spot with a cascading stream flowing in and out of the pond. I loved standing on site and trying to capture the beauty of the water with ripples of bright colors under the water as the koi undulated throughout.
