The Castle Rock formations tucked into the slopes of Mt. Diablo are home to a protected colony of Peregrine Falcons. As I painted at this spot in the nearby foothills I tried to imagine what a falcon might see, soaring quietly above her territory. Acrylic on Ampersand Gessobord panel, 12" x 12", unframed.
