Whenever I need to get away from it all I head to Lake Del Valle and find instant peace. Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore CA is only an hour from my house but it feels like a whole different world, a secluded forest sanctuary. It was a joy painting there with friends on a fresh spring day just after a storm had cleared. Oil on Ampersand Gessobord panel, 12" x 12", unframed.
