I'm thrilled to share that "Waterbird Vista, Martinez" has received the Third Place Overall Award in the February 2025 PleinAir Salon Art Competition judged by master artist Jill Carver. It's now featured in the June/July 2025 issue of PleinAir Magazine. The marsh was sparkling after recent rains and the refineries were casting eerie reflections. My friends and I enjoyed the beauty -- and the challenge -- of this view from Waterbird Regional Preserve in Martinez, California. Acrylic on 8" x 24" gallery-wrapped deep canvas, no framing is needed. This painting will be available at the Epperson Gallery in Crockett, California, beginning June 13, 2025.
