Generations of kids learned their "Three R's" in this one-room schoolhouse, way out in horse country near Danville in Northern California. I imagined seeing it through a child's eyes, looming tall with embracing, welcoming steps. Acrylic on 12" circular canvas, 3/4" deep with painted sides, no framing is needed. This painting will be part of the Lamorinda Arts Alliance's exhibit "The Neighborhood", July 5 - August 28, 2025 at the aRt Cottage in Concord, California.
