I saw this lovely home on the shore of Lake Michigan- a beautiful home on a beautiful location. I did this painting in thick oil paint on a 10x8 masonite board. I like using thick oil paint as it gives paintings a luscious texture that can’t be replicated in a print. This could easily be framed by placing it in a standard photo frame with the glass removed.
