Media: Oil
Size: 10x8 in
This one room schoolhouse is in the ghost town of Rochford, SD. The town arose as a mining settlement when gold was discovered in the Black Hills. I did this painting in thick oil paint on a 10x8 masonite board. I like using thick oil paint as it gives paintings a luscious texture that can’t be replicated in a print. This could easily be framed by placing it in a standard photo frame with the glass removed. Shipped free with USPS Ground Advantage shipping within one day. If you would like this painting in a smaller or larger size, please message me for price and details. Thank you!
