Media: The encaustics are done on encausticbord (by ampersand) which is a prepared hard board, 1/8" in thickness.

$125 for FRAMED piece. In a modern city like New York it's nice to see these old water towers still servicing buildings. Conceived in the 1880's they can hold up to 10,000 gallons of water. There are about 15,000 water towers in the city, and just as necessary as they were over 100 years ago. This is an encaustic which incorporates a toner transfer. (Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
