These buildings tower over Riverside Drive and the Henry Hudson River Parkway on the west side of Manhattan. Depending upon the time of day and the weather, the facades of the buildings change as they reflect the conditions of the sky. This encaustic incorporates a toner transfer.(Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
