When we first moved to the island and saw the deer, I said "Oooh, quiet,
don't spook, them, how cool!" Now when I go out in the yard they just
ignore me. They eat everything, there are NO deer-proof plants.
Still, they do make an interesting painting subject. They hang out at the edge of the clearing and come into the yard to eat the clover and dandelions and all the flowers in the flowerbed.
