This is the final from my color study at the Gardens on Spring Creek this weekend. They have been posting photos of these guys all week and I'm so glad I could paint them from life. The sun never really came out from behind the clouds, which I thought would make for a dull painting, but it made for a lovely painting time! My paint was happy, I never got really hot. Just lovely.
