I love painting daffodils! They have a lot of straight-line structures and a lot of curves. Plus, I am awed by the way light shines through the flowers. This was painted from a photograph taken by Kelly Anne Powers. She has a fantastic podcast called "Learn to Paint Podcast" where she interviews artists from the viewpoint of a student.
