This painting was featured as the painting on promotional material for the Johns Creek Art Center 2024 Winter Student Show. I did a series of paintings with different fruit in martini glasses. I love to paint glass and do a lot of it. I love it because to get it right I have to paint exactly what I see and this forces me to stay focused. It's so easy to be distracted by the logic of what I think I see. It's a discipline I am constantly working on.
