Not my normal medium, although after doing collage with recent children’s classes, I realized how much fun it can be! The children (10 yr olds), really gravitated to it. They were totally absorbed with finding the right colors/ patterns, and then cutting out the shapes. It seems like a valuable art lesson for kids since they have to use several thought processes to create their work. I also noticed that there was less hesitation, competition, and self consciousness then working in drawing or painting media.
