Media: Acrylic with textured glaze on canvas panel

"Giverny 1900" - Inspired by Monet. A demo for my "Paint a Masterpiece" class. In this piece I played on Monet's love of Japonaise by using under painting of gold iridescent copper and added the same in an edge on the Gallery wrap canvas.Those purple irises are tough to photograph accurately but they contain a myriad of beautiful mauves and violets with sunlight dancing on the center portion.
