Each summer the Midwest road sides are often filled with these wild blooming orange day lilies. When I am gone from the Midwest for a while, I miss these roadside flowers which also includes cornflower blue chicory and wild daisies. I worked from a photo I had taken of these beauties. They are done in watercolor on Arches paper and matted in off white. The matted size is 16" x 20", a standard size for frames.
