Media: Mixed acrylic monotype on paper with colored pencil
Size: 7x5 in
2-14-20 warm-up Happy Valentine's Day! I'm still re-working the monotypes...because I had LOTS of prints that came close, but didn't make the show. (which opens today at Oliver Art Center in Frankfort, MI) Isn't this one happy? I think it looks like the berries are throwing confetti- is it just me? I like to do these small warm-up paintings or collages before a painting session. They loosen me up and get me ready to dive in to my day in the studio. This paper is just shy of 10x8 outside dimension- the acrylic monoprinted and colored pencil image is 7x5.5. It's matted and backed and ready to pop into a standard 8x10 frame. 2-14-20 warm-up Happy Valentine's Day!
