Every so often I meet a dog that I just have to paint, and a number of the pups in this year's selection are among that bunch. This is one of them. I don't know who she or he is, I don't remember what the owner even looked like, I think it was a woman...but this little face just caught me. She seemed youngish and puppy-ish, but that look in those eyes speaks of wisdom passed down through generations. Or maybe she was just hoping for a treat...
