Hello, this art sat half-finished for a couple months. I couldn't figure out what to do with the upper background area. Finally, I went in and tried Payne's Gray, Carbon Black, and a little Titanium. All I can say is I felt a "pow!" it really punched it up. I was pleased, I normally keep my backgrounds lighter. The interesting part is, trying to get the stems to show up was difficult. I think the paint was sinking into the background. I added thicker opaque colors and think it did the job. Thank you for viewing and hope you enjoyed this art.
