Hello,
I am very grateful that you’re here and that you’re curious about how my paintings and drawings have come to existence.
My journey as an artist started in early childhood and, even though I spent four years studying interior architecture and design in Poland, I still somehow ended up working an office job in California for 17 years. Luckily, those days are over, and I am now back chasing my destiny here in gorgeous Florida.
Determined to turn my passion into a profession, in November 2024 I committed to a 12-month long Mastery Program through Milan Art Institute. After several months of refreshing skills and exploring techniques, I am now in the process of creating my portfolio and learning about art business and marketing. Becoming a member of Daily Paint Works is yet another step closer to my goal of becoming a professional artist.
Over the years I have been shaped by a tapestry of experiences, cultures and landscapes. No matter where I move though, the sea always follows me, providing comfort and a sense of belonging. In return, I celebrate its beauty and wonder through my art. My self-expression is interwoven with the patterns of light on the water and ever-changing movement of majestic waves.
I love to work in different mediums while utilizing various techniques and experimentations. I create my own collage papers using gelli plate, I carve linocuts for block printing and design stencils to use with spray paints. My mixed media artworks are usually rendered with acrylics and finished with juicy oil paints.
Patterns, light and movement are the focus of my creative obsession. Each new painting brings me closer to evoking exactly what my dreams are made of and sharing with the world the endless riches of my imagination.
Our reality is filled with business, societal pressures and technological advancements. As a form of antidote, my art offers an alternative world filled with joy, peace and hope, a world that nudges you to choose wonder.
