I am an acrylic / mixed media, self taught conceptual artist. I worked as a Costume Designer / Stylist in Hollywood for 30 years until I left to pursue my passion for painting. Most of my work centers around positive and encouraging messages and draws upon my own struggles, life experiences and career and seen through strong women in my stylized portraiture. This Cover Girl series is a fun retrospective of Cover Girls through the decades. This is one of four so far, and very different from what I usually paint. Thanks for learning about me.
