Iris petals are total show-offs — twisting, curling, refusing to be ignored. Honestly, when I first sat down to paint this, I had no idea how to wrangle those shapes. They’re unpredictable in the best way. So I did what felt right: loaded up the brush and dove in. No overthinking, just flow. Turns out, they’re a joy to paint — bold, graceful, and a little wild. Like a favorite child who knows they’re the favorite.
