Working on a smooth canvas board in oil pastels is not the quickest process when you live in Florida. Each stage took a few days to dry. Doing subtraction was very enjoyable though. It's definitely my favorite oil paint technique. The colors and the sheen on the mackerels and the metal platter added to the fun.
