I passed these palm trees each morning walking the block down the street to the beach from Belle’s Sea Inn in Port Aransas. Sunday morning before we packed up to head home I walked down for one last sunrise. I made a quick sketch and took a few pictures of these palms on the way to re-visit now that I’m back home in Beaumont. Being from a devout Catholic family I couldn’t resist the title. Seems fitting for a sunrise in paradise.
“Palm Sunday” is a 12” X 9” oil painting on a 1 1/2” deep gallery wrapped canvas. It’s wired and ready to hang.
