Fur and twigs and berries, oh my!! I must admit after weeks of trying to block in a dizzying array of branches and fruit I was afraid I'd started something I may not be able to finish! However, after months of stops and starts, all the intricate pieces of this portrait began to fall into place. The background was my favorite part with all the subtle shapes and colors on top of colors! Though the rest of the pastel painting nearly drove me to madness, "Berry Bliss" has been my most rewarding challenge yet.
