This was hard, and I'm still seeing things that are "off." It was a good learning experience. This painting was a lot of fun, but a huge challenge. I intend to do more paintings like this. This painting recently received a First Place award at a local gallery show. (I was so shocked!) The companion painting (El Esposo—“The Husband”—because the models are married) was also accepted in this local show and is now available here. While I try to always capture colors correctly, each screen and display shows color a little differently, so please keep this in mind. This was hard, and I'm still seeing things that are "off."
