We inherited a Daher tin tray (circa 1960s) with the purchase of our house. I’ve been using it as a tray for vitamins, etc., but my husband recently upgraded the tray to one that rotates in the cabinet. So what to do with this vintage piece? I love its psychedelic colors and pattern, so it became the subject of a still life with even more amped up color. It is now situated in my painting space, so I will see it every day.
