This was done in a workshop I took with Acrylic University. This is Mount Baker with a flock of snow geese on the ground. The story the instructor told about how she discovered the snow geese and how magical they are to watch when they migrate was so interesting. There were hundreds of them in this field and when they left, they all rose up at the same time. The people that were there watching all had umbrellas that they put up when this happened which puzzled her and to her disadvantage, she quickly learned why. Funny, but not funny to the person who gets droppings on their head! Even though, I would love to see that in person one day...I will be sure to be equipped not only with a camera, but also an umbrella! This work was rendered by Rachel Mccrillis it is done with acrylic on a sheet of heavy watercolor paper. The buyer will receive this painting safely and carefully packaged and ready to hang.
